As you probably have already heard, icon Elizabeth Taylor died today surrounded by her family. Here's two of my favorite pictures of this legendary woman.

Before the advent of photoshop and airbrushing, you had to be stunning and flawless. Everything is pure perfection in this picture. Although this was taken when she was quite young, I can't get over her beautiful features-the full eyebrows, the lovely lips, big beautiful eyes. No one could touch her.

I LOVE seeing stars in their natural state. This has to be my all-time favorite. Even though Ms. Taylor is casual, she still looks groomed and polished.
This is what I strive to do, but I don't know if I could ever live up to her standard.
This lady, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, perfumer, actress, and philanthropist is that last of a dying generation of women who exuded grace, class, and sophistication. My hope that she is remembered more for her acting skills and philanthropy than her many marriages.
I won't even insult this grand dame by giving her a grade.
Rest in peace, Ms. Taylor, and may the Heavenly Father rock you in the cradle of his arms.
