Like I said, this event was celebrity-filled.
Mary Elizabeth wore a really pretty maxi dress accessorized with a brown belt and Chanel bag. I loved this outfit, and I would wear it to work with a pair of brown wedges instead of those heavy black shoes. Of course the top would need to be modified. No bare shoulder at work! Heels and teaching little kids really don't mix. While I liked the Chanel bag, the black was a little jarring with the flowy, bohemian feeling fo the dress.

With the exception of the heavy black shoes, Kate Mara looked really cute in her Miu Miu outfit. She was giving me an Olivia Palermo vibe, and I love Olivia's style. I love the mix with the purple Prada clutch.

Jaimie King attended the function as well. I wasn't a fan of this dress. The sleeves are just weird, and she needed some color somewhere. This makes her look like a hostess in a restaurant. But, look at those legs. Amazing.

I like Eve Hewson and have featured her on this blog before. She's 20 years old and looks her age in this nude dress. Again with the black pumps. Those shoes are too heavy for the dress, and I bet that Miu Miu had some shoes that she could have borrowed that would have been more appropriate. Like, I don't know, some strappy sandals. Love the pop of color with the purple, sparkle clutch.

Paula Patton looked really pretty at the event as well. I love the short, flirty blue dress. However, her hair is in the way, and she's wearing black pumps. With that hair, no one can appreciate the top portion of her dress or the earrings that she wore.

B+ for Mary Elizabeth because the black accessories were too heavy for the dress.
A- for Kate Mara because of the unimaginative black shoes.
D for Jamie King for weird sleeves and looking like a hostess instead of a guest.
A- for Eve. Like Mary Elizabeth, the black shoes were too heavy for the dress.
B+ for Paula. Pull up the hair and find something other than shoes.
I am going to start a campaign. Just Say No to Black Pumps.
There's always better and more interesting footwear out there.
Update:
Jaime, Eve, and Paula are all wearing dresses by Miu Miu.
