I don't know how Jennifer Missoni fits into the design house's empire, but her look caught my eye.
I liked that the obvious Missoni mini dress highlighted her legs while keeping everything covered up. The long sleeves and covered up chest let her legs be the highlight of the look. The look was perfectly balanced.
Her Christian Louboutins picked up the orange in her garment.
The hair is distracting. The print and her legs should be the main focus.
A-. Not loving the hair.
I have never watched Dancing with the Stars so it's not that often that I even take a look at the dancers other than Julianne Hough. However, I did like what Karina Smirnoff was wearing for the premiere of Lawless.
Her raspberry colored dress was really cute with the little puff sleeves, strategically placed studs, and ruffled hemline.
I loved her metallic shoes. It would have been so easy to pair this with black pumps, and I'm glad that she didn't go there.
I think that she should have worn her hair up. It would have given her look a little sex appeal if the open back could have been seen.
A-. Not liking the hair.
Bella Heathcote also stepped to the red carpet for the premiere of Lawless.
I am not a fan of black so when I want a neutral, I usually turn to grey. So, of course, I am loving this dress. The Jonathan Saunders garment had a pretty black and grey floral print on a silver background. She accessorized the dress with a pair of black pumps.
While I like the look, I wish that her footwear had been a little more adventurous.
She added a little color with her bright lipstick. I have always loved her hair and bangs. They fit her face.
A. A little boring but a nice look.
Liberty Ross went cool and casual for the premiere of the movie, Lawless.
On anyone else, I would repeat my mantra, "leggings are not pants". But on Liberty, it looked good. Liberty paired her classic black leggings with green long sleeved Balmain blouse. The blouse was embellished with gold buttons which gave her ook a little oomph.
To continue her edgy look, she wore a pair of lace up booties from Alaia.
Liberty looked gorgeous as always.
A+. This was not my cup of tea, but I like seeing Liberty in something other than her usual elegant, sophisticated looks.
Ali Larter looked very striking with the ensemble that she chose to wear for the premiere of Bachelorette.
I can't believe that I'm writing this but...I like it. I like it alot. Even though I'm not a fan of bare middriffs, I loved this on her as it was a pretty bold choice. Ali wore a criss crossed, off-the-shoulder bodice along with a pair of matching striped pants. The look was completed with a pair of black sandals.
I wasn't sure about the belt. I liked that she wore one, but I'm not convinced that this was the right one. Ali carried a stunning Edie Parker clutch.
I like the her hair as it goes with the vibe of the ensemble. Ali also wore lipstick that matched the buckle on her belt.
Rebel Wilson plays the title character in the movie Bachelorette.
Rebel chose to go with a little black dress. This is classic Tadashi Shoji. I love the horizontal and vertical pleating with the sheer panels and lace hemline. The look was paired with Diane von Furstenberg pointy toe pumps.
This Alexander McQueen skull clutch is my favorite part of the look. It gave this little black dress some much needed edge.
While I love this necklace, I don't think that it was the right accessory for this look. It's a bit much. She also added some color to her look with a bright lipstick.
B+. I like the look but not the styling with the shoes and necklace.
Lizzy Caplan also stars in Bachelorette with Kirsten Dunst and Isla Fisher. She chose a minimal look as opposed to Kirsten's fashion forward and Isla's sexy looks.
If you read my post on yesterday, you know that I love white on the red carpet. However, I wasn't enamored with this look. I found it a little boring which surprised me because I love Dolce & Gabbana. It just doesn't exude the sexiness that I'm used to seeing from the design house.
The dress had a bustier bodice with a skirt at that weird hemline that I detest. It just looks like the designers couldn't decide whether to be long or short. The dress was paired with Stella McCartney sandals.
I liked the simplicity of the clutch which was done in a pale blue. It gave her look a little color.
I wish that she had gone full-on minimal and simple with her hair. The hair is a little sloppy, and I think that a sleek bun would have worked out much better. Love the red lipstick.
C. This is a snooze.
Isla Fisher co-stars in Bachelorette with Kirsten Dunst. Her look was completely different than Kirsten's.
And, I prefer her look. Some may find this red lace Reem Acra dress to be boring and predictable, I really liked it. The dress had a plunging neckline. I also liked the classic shape and silhouette which was amped up with the red lace over a nude sheath. The red leather waistband broke up the color.
The nude Sergio Rossi pumps were safe, but the dress didn't need a lot of extra accessories. Loved the simple diamond jewelry as well.
I liked her super straight hair with the dress and very simple make-up. The styling made the dress center stage.
A+. Pretty look.
Kirsten Dunst looked very pretty for the premiere of her movie, Bachelorette.
The color on her was gorgeous. I loved this blue Jean Paul Gaultier with the ruffled bodice and full skirt. I like that it was belted to give her a little shape. I also like the spaghetti straps on the back of the dress.
I also liked the Chloe bag which gave her dress a little edge.
Normally, Kirsten's hair is a bit of a mess. Not for this event. Her hair was just as polished as the rest of the look.
A. I look forward to seeing more of this Kirsten on the red carpet.
I apologize for the late posts, but I was in a housework mood so....
Now, it's time for some fashion. Up first, I have Ashley Greene who looked beautiful for the premiere of her movie, The Apparition.
I really loved this color on Ashley which doesn't appear to be a pure red. It seemed to have a bit of pink undertones. I liked the pleating and rouching details throughout as well as the cascading ruffles down the side slit. The gown is by Donna Karan Atelier.
The look was accessorized with a pair of nude Jimmy Choo slingback pumps. I didn't like them. I felt like the gown needed a sandal.
Normally, I would prefer a sleek updo, but I like the soft waves in her hair. The lipstick was a perfect match, and I loved the blue earrings.
