Earlier in the week, 11 Minute premiered at the 72nd Film Festival. Jury member, Diane Kruger, attended the event.
Diane looked gorgeous in her Oscar de la Renta gown. The gown was white and created in a classic strapless column. I adored the graphic, oversized roses which gave the look some added interest. Diane finished off her look with Brian Atwood platform pumps and a red Rauwolf clutch.
Because it appeared that it was very breezy, I wish that she had worn her hair in a chic knot.
A. Gorgeous look.

Diane Kruger, Elizabeth Banks, and Paz Vega attended a jury member photocall ahead of the opening ceremony.
Up first, we have Diane Kruger in a Preen dress. The dress was done in black with vibrant floral embroidery. I liked the square detail on the top of the dress as it gives the look a sailor vibe. Not a fan of the ankle boots, but they are very much Diane's aesthetic.
Elizabeth Banks also went with a floral look in Dolce & Gabbana. The cocktail dress was black with a white floral print. Over the print were three dimensional flowers sprinkled throughout. The look was finished off with Stuart Weitzman sandals.
I guess that Paz Vega got the black and floral memo. Her dress is courtesy of Ferragamo. The dress was black with a floral background. I adored the mix of pink and purple, and the print gives it a retro vibe. Her sandals are also Ferragamo.

Diane Kruger looked gorgeous at the Venice Film Festival opening.
And, as a jury member, I expect nothing less. I was pleasantly surprised that it was Prada as the design house has a sketchy gown past. The white mixed with silver was gorgeous, and I really liked the mix of textures of the fabrications. The fit was perfect, and I loved the drama of the train.
Her clutch is Lee Savage.
Her hair and make-up were both pretty and elegant.
A+. I can't wait to see what the actress wears for the rest of the festival.

Diane Kruger had one of my favorite looks from the night.
Diane shut it down in a custom Prabal Gurung gown. The red and black is a classic combination as is the column shape. However, the fabrication is beautiful, and the bodice was very cool. Diane doesn't often do sexy and sophisticated, but she looked just that in this gorgeous confection.
The sandals were Prabal Gurung as well.
The clutch is Edie Parker.
The minimal styling was the perfect choice.
A+. Lovely as always.

Diane Kruger looked breathtaking.
This Prada gown was ten different kinds of amazing. The color was divine. The embellishments were just the right amount of sparkle, and that train added the drama that we expect from Cannes.
Mostly, I like that she killed it at a premiere that wasn't even for her movie.
Love the hair.

Not going to lie, I started off last night not really liking Diane Kruger's look.
However, the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. This Chanel couture ensemble is not for everyone, and, let's face it, not just anyone can pull it off. The look consisted of a pair of unlined lace pants. The pants were topped with a strapless corset top which were covered with embellishments. It was different, and very much within Diane's aesthetic.
Diane added a pop of color with a Judith Leiber clutch.
Love the addition of the flower. It adds a bit of whimsy to the ensemble.
A. Lovely look.

I was happy yet again to see Diane Kruger on the red carpet.
Diane hit it out of the park yet again in this pretty Chanel couture dress. I loved the pale pink as it added to the already soft and feminine dress. The fabrication was interesting, and I adored the shape and silhouette. It's not often that Diane does sweet and pretty, but I like the change of pace.
Diane's clutch is Edie Parker which matched the silver pointy pumps.
Love the soft curls and pink toned make-up.
A+. It's nice to see Diane open to doing pretty woman in a pretty dress.

Diane Kruger can do no wrong.
This gown has to be one of my favorites from the house of Naeem Khan. It was beautiful. The white with the blue print was very striking. I love the shape, silhouette, and structure. I just have no words to describe how incredible this gown is.
Her clutch is Amanda Wakeley.
Love the hair, but she needed more shine to her lips.
A+. I love a good print.
