Emma Watson was in New York to attend a screening of her new movie, The Bling Ring.

Emma wore a simple little black dress for the screening. This was a good choice since this was just a screening and not a big time premiere. The dress was given a little sexy appeal with the plunging neckline and to keep it from being too boring. Unfortunately, the bust
Her accessories included a pair of striped Christian Louboutin pumps and a metallic Ferragamo clutch.

Her sleek hairstyle went well with the ease of the dress, and red lips added a bit of color to the look.
B+. Nice look but not a wow.
Not sure how I managed to miss THIS.

Maybe because I haven't been in the blogging mindframe because of all of this end-of-school-year stuff that's going on with my boys. Be that as it may, better late than never.
I loved this look from head-ankle. Her Roland Mouret top is gorgeous. I love the print as it looks like zebra. Of course, it wouldn't be a Roland Mouret without his signature origami-style details. The top was paired with cropped black Phillip Lim trousers and Ferragamo pumps.

I take it that Emma's growning her hair out. I like the style, though, as it goes perfect with the ensemble.
A+. Perfection.
On Sunday, the world premiere of the movie, World War Z was held in London, England

For the premiere, Mireille went with Zac Posen. The gown was signature Zac with the dramatic train and structured neckline. I love the white with her red hair.

Her clutch was Ferragamo.

I didn't like her hair. It was too messy, and a chic updo would have looked 100% better.
A-. Mireille looked amazing from the neck down.
Rose Byrne also chose to go the cocktail dress route for the CFDA Fashion Awards.

Thakoon is not one of my favorites, but I do know that the design house makes more interesting choices than this. This LBD was fully sequined in black and had sheer panels and hemline. The look was finished off with silver-grey pumps which were too heavy for the dress.

Rose seems to favor this hairstyle so no surprises there. The orange lipstick is a little jarring and out of place. A berry or soft pink would have worked better.
C. Another average dress.
Rose Byrne is another actress that hasn't been on the blog in a long time. She is also starring in The Internship.

This isn't exactly the sexy Pucci that we're used to seeing. I like this one as it appeals to Rose's aesthetic. The pale pink mini was strapless with a sheer polka dotted overlay. A little bow added a bit of femininity to the dress. Satin Ferragamon pumps completed the look.

I see that Rose hasn't deviated from her hairstyle.
A. Rose looks very pretty.

Zhang Ziyi continues to dominate the red carpet at the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

Zhang knocked it out of the park again. Tonight's look is courtesy of Chanel couture. I loved the gold sequins on top of the black background. The little details like the sheer hemline, oversized peplum, and bow accent make the gown memorable. Zhang's accessories included a Ferragamo clutch and Jimmy Choo shoes.

A simple bun and minimal amount of jewelry completed the look.
A+. Stunning.
If there is ever a chance to pull out all of the fashion stops, it's the Cannes Film Festival. Paz Vega did just that.

Paz looked stunning in a Roberto Cavalli gown. I loved the corset body suit that was worn under sheer crystal embroidery. The neckline wasn't as plunging as Cindy's, but you still got that Cavalli signature sex appeal.

Paz's shoes and clutch were both from Salvatore Ferragamo.

Apparently side swept hair is still a thing. Paz had hers done in voluminous curls.
A+. One of my favorites.
On Tuesday, Ferragamo hosted a celebration for the launch of L'Icona and the 35th Anniversary of Vara.

Isla Fisher attened a celebration in her honor for her cover on Gotham Magazine.

For the occasion, Isla wore a mini dress from Balmain. The dress was a gold and black jacquard that she topped with a black blazer. I wish that there were pictures of her without it so we could get a better look at the dress. The look was finished off with a gold Ferragamo clutch and blackan gol trimmed Casadei pumps.

I liked the pouf on top of her softly curled hair.
A. Lovely look, but she should have ditche the jacket once inside.
With any type of MTV awards show, you never know what you're going to get. And, Hana Mae Lee proved that.

Hana Mae wore a little black dress for the occasion. Her Marco Marco was knee length sheath with patent panels and a cage neckline. I liked the dress, but I think that she could have gone shorter especially with those Ferragamo shoes.

Of course, who could focus on her dress with that used cigarette butt hat/headpiece. The hat was Alain Lafaille for He-Ha. I hate that this is covering up her hair which I liked.
B+. If you can't wear a used cigarette butt hat to the MTV Awards, where can you?
